Alpha has been awarded the highest possible rating by our housing association regulator, the Department for Communities (DfC), for our operations in 2021-22.
In the recently published regulatory judgment following the annual assessment of performance, the Department awarded Alpha a top rating of 1 in all areas including service delivery, governance and financial management.
DfC is the Regulatory Authority for registered housing associations in Northern Ireland. The Housing Regulation Branch within DfC undertakes this regulation activity on behalf of the Department and seeks to protect the interests of tenants, homeless people and others who use the services provided by registered housing associations.
We work really hard at Alpha to provide homes and services that help people flourish. It is wonderful to have these efforts recognised through the award of the highest possible ratings from the Department for our governance, financial management and customer sservices. A top rating across all areas of our business is a reflection of the commitment and professionalism of every member of our team and they should feel proud of what we have achieved together.
